Charles Ebo Fabin is a Senior Manager and the Head of Information Technology (IT) Department of Ghana Reinsurance Company. He is also responsible for IT operations in both the Kenya and Cameroun Contact Offices.
He holds a B.Sc. (Comp. Science) from KNUST, Post-Graduate Diploma (MIS), Certificate in Project Management all from GIMPA. Microsoft Certified Professional (2004). He is a Member of Information Systems Security Association (UK Chapter), Project Management Institute (Ghana Chapter), Internet Society (ISOC - Ghana Chapter) and other professional bodies.
Charles has worked in various IT capacities since 1988 with State Gold Mining Corporation, Tarkwa (1988 - 1992), Ghana Revenue Authority, Customs and VAT Divisions (1992 – 1998) and the High Commission of Canada (1998 – 2006). Charles has attended several IT courses and seminars both local and abroad; notably in Canada, France, South Africa, Denmark, Switzerland, Nigeria, the Gambia, Cameroon, Kenya and the United Kingdom.
Kwaku joined Ghana Reinsurance Company in 2008 as a Senior Business Development Officer. In 2016, he was appointed to the position of Head, Domestic Operations. He holds a MA Risk Management Degree from Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield, UK and a BSc (Hons) Planning degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.
Kwaku is a Chartered Insurance Risk Manager, an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK and also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. He is a part-time lecturer in Risk Management at the Ghana Insurance College.
Mr. Daniel Acquaye started his career with Ghana Re in 1992 after graduating from the School of Administration, University of Ghana, Legon with a B.Sc in Administration (Insurance) degree.
Mr. Acquaye has over twenty (20) years’ work experience in reinsurance. He is a Chartered Insurer and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) U.K. He has attended various courses on Reinsurance and Risk Management both locally and internationally. He currently holds the position of Senior Manager and is the Head of Domestic Operations, Team II of the Company.
Stephen Kofi Abekah is a Manager and the Head of Domestic Operations Department, Team III.
Kofi Abekah is a product of the University of Ghana, Legon and holds a B.Sc. Administration (Insurance Option) degree, 1991. He is an Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute of London (United Kingdom), (ACII). He is also an Associate of the Insurance Institute of Ghana (IIG).
Stephen worked with KEK Insurance Brokers Limited, the largest Insurance Broking Firm in Ghana for about a decade. He joined Ghana Re in January 2007. He has since worked in various capacities in the company.
Stephen has attended several Insurance courses and seminars both local and abroad; including India, Sierra Leone and Nigeria.
Mrs. Elizabeth Ashie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French and Spanish from the University of Ghana, an Advanced Diploma in French Studies from the Ministry of Education, France and a Diploma in French Studies from the Centre of Foreign Languages, University of Benin. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Applied Insurance from the Malta International Training Centre and the Ghana Insurance College.
She is also a Graduate from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, London. Mrs. Ashie has also participated in several seminars both in Ghana and Abroad. Before joining Ghana Reinsurance Company Limited in 2007, she worked in various positions in the following establishments: Teaching Assistant at the Spanish Department of the University of Ghana, Lecturer at the French Department of the Ghana Institute of Languages and Administrator at Alpha Beta Education Centre.
Mr. Enrico Quansah is the Head of Special Duties Department. He holds an EMBA in Finance from the University Of Ghana Business School, a Bachelor in Finance and Accounting from Greenhill College, GIMPA, and a Diploma in Statistics from the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana, Legon.
He joined the Research and Statistics Department of Ghana Re in 1994, as an officer. He had previous work experience from the Research and Planning Department, Ghana Commercial Bank from 1982-1994. Mr. Quansah has attended a number of Insurance and Reinsurance Courses both local and abroad.
Kwabena Adu Safo is a Lawyer and a Human Resource Professional. He holds an MBA (Human Resource Management)-2001 and a BA (Hons) degree (1994) both from the University of Ghana.
He also has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from GIMPA – 2014, and was called to Ghana Bar in September 2016. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and Institute of Human Resource of Ghana.
Kwabena started his career at AGC-Iduapriem Goldmine in 1996 and briefly joined Barclays Bank before being appointed as the HR Operations Manager at Graphic Communications Group Ltd in 2005. He also worked with SIC Life Company Ltd as Head of Admin/HR and joined World Vision Ghana in 2011 as Director of People and Culture, before proceeding to pursue his law studies. As a Lawyer he worked with Kulendi, Amponsah & Attafuah @ Law and Citadel Law Consult.
Gabriel is the Head of Internal Audit of Ghana Reinsurance Company Limited. He was previously the Finance Manager of company having joined in November 2012. Gabriel has knowledge and experience in Financial Management, Accounting, Risk and Internal Audit Reporting. He held various positions in organisations such as Head of Finance & Administration-Unique Life Assurance Company Ltd, Accounts & Disbursement Manager-Students Loans Trust Fund, Finance & Administration Officer-Sight Savers International, Senior Accounting Officer-Ghana Institute of Public Administration (GIMPA) and Project Accountant-Global Business Schools Network Project (International Finance Corporation /GIMPA).
A chartered accountant and a Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants-(ACCA-UK). Holds an MBA (Webster University, Walker School of Business & Technology-St. Louis-U.S .A), B.Sc. Administration–Banking & Finance (University of Ghana Business School - Legon) and other certifications such as Diplome D’Etudes En Langue Française (DELF) - Le Minister de l’ Education Nationale de la Republic Française, Securities Courses Certificate- Ghana Stock Exchange and Risk Based Internal Auditing - Crown Agents-UK
Mrs Madeleine Nangayo is the Ag. Regional Director, Ghana Re, Kenya office. She holds an MBA from the Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI Business School), Dip CII & Dip CII (Claims) from the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and a Post Graduate Diploma (Management Studies) Thames Valley University now Queen Mary University.
She is a member of the IIK and an active peer contributor in the Kenyan Reinsurers scene.
She has experience of over 25 years gained from various reinsurance companies in Kenya having started her early career life at Kenya Re in 1987 where she worked for 9 years before taking a break to pursue management studies in the UK.
Upon her return, she worked at PTA Re before moving to East Africa Re where she headed the Non-life Department as a Senior Underwriter for 11 years.
In 2011, Madeleine joined Ghana Re Kenya as a Manager where she is credited with setting up both the technical and operations departments of the office. She is a resourceful planner and focused marketer; skills she has developed through her long exposure and various training courses, both local and international.
Roger SIEWE NGANJUI is a graduate of the XIIth Promotion (1994/96) of the postgraduate course (DESS / Assurances) of the International Institute of Insurance (IIA), after University studies in Economics, crowned by a Postgraduate Diploma in Econometrics.
He spent most of his career in the Marine and Aviation Department of GRAS SAVOYE Cameroon which he has been the Head, cumulatively with the functions of Customer Relationship Manager of most of the broker’s clients in the transport and logistics sectors.
After a short stay at ZENITHE INSURANCE COMPANY PLC CAMROON as Sales and Marketing Director, Mr. Roger SIEWI NGANJUI joined the platform, based in ACTIVA Assurance in Douala, of the GLOBUS Pan-African network of independent insurance companies, as General Coordinator of the Douala Hub, then the Executive Director of the whole network, with a constantly evolving operational feasibility perimeter that reached 36 countries in Africa. On this occasion, Mr. Roger SIEWE NGANJUI initiated and set up an up-to-date database on the various insurance regulations in Africa, with emphasis on regulatory constraints concerning domiciliation of the insurance of imported goods and cargoes.
Referred as a passionate Professional, especially on issues related to Marine Insurance, Mr. ROGER SIEWE NGANJUI has accumulated more than 20 years of experience in teaching Marine & Transport insurance at the Professional Training Centers of Insurance (CPFA) in Douala, then cumulatively with the CPFA of Bangui in the Central African Republic, before, in consideration of this experience, the IIA entrusts him the same courses for the students of 2nd year of the two cycles (DESS/A and MST/A) of the institution.
Priscilla Asimakua Assan holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from GIMPA. She has an Advanced Applied Insurance Studies Diploma from Malta International Training Centre/Ghana Insurance College and is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) United Kingdom. She is a Chartered Insurer.
Priscilla has twenty years work experience with 9 years as a Reinsurance Underwriter. She is currently the Head of Domestic Operations, Team I. She has attended many seminars in Underwriting/Reinsurance courses both local and International.
Jonathan Kwame Kwakye joined Ghana Reinsurance in 2003 as a Finance Officer. He was appointed the Acting Head of Business Development in 2011 and as the substantive Head in 2012. He is currently the Acting Head of the International Operations, Anglophone of Ghana Reinsurance Company Limited.
He is a Chartered Insurer of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London. He also holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Hons. degree from the University of Cape Coast.
He obtained the highest scholastic award at the West African Insurance Institute (WAII) in 2005 at Gambia and received several awards at the Ghana Insurance College (GIC).
He has attended several training workshops and seminars both local and international. He has over sixteen (16) years’ experience in the Reinsurance Industry.
He has been a resource person for most of Ghana Re local and international seminars since 2006.
