The Ghana Reinsurance Company Cameroon Branch office started operations in June 2011. The office underwrites business from the Central African sub-region. Its territorial scope spans Cameroon, Congo-Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic, Rwanda, Burundi, Djibouti, Angola, Sao Tome & Principe.
The primary objective of setting up the branch is to bring Ghana Re's services closer to the French speaking Africa.
The office is run by a highly committed and professional team, headed by a Regional Director, and works closely with the International French Department of the Head Office.
Ghana Re Cameroon office's working philosophy is in line with the broad corporate objectives of the Head Office, which is based on professionalism, quick turn-around time and rapid claim payment procedures.
