Text Box: The International Operations Department consists of English and French sections. This outfit underwrites Non-Life risks (businesses) on both Treaty and Facultative basis from overseas. Our concentration is however on businesses emanating from Africa. In effect, we accept offers from reputable and rated Cedants and Retrocedants across Africa. We also accept business either on direct basis or through international reinsurance brokers. The direct business offers are from Insurance Companies as well as Reinsurance Companies. All classes of business are underwritten by this unit except Aviation and Financial Guarantees.
